walking itno the old, slightly smelly hog's head Effie felt at home,so close to hogwarts as she was and here there were no troubles,no old ministry workers babbling on about the things she did not have any intrest in or cared about in any way. Taking off her blue traveling coat and placing it carefuly on to a chair in the corner of the room, she then walked over to get her usual glass of fire whisky
'long day?' asked the bar man
'honestly if i knew this was wha' being an auror was like i would never 'ave bothered'
he gave a chuckle and she turned to sit in her usual seat by the window.
The sky was grey and the wind cold and crisp, she could see a few people in the distence walking with their head down from one shop to another holding their hoods firmly over their heads as the wind tried to grasp on and blow it off.
She used to come here every weekend with her friends when she was at hogwarts, where they were now she did not know. THey had lost touch after hogwarts, nothing keeping them together anymore,no gryffindor, lessons only the rest of their lives. She had made the biggest mistake of all,she knew 2 of her friends went to scotland to work with magical animals, another went to the order of phoenix whilst workin in a muggle shop in liverpool. They had all gone their seperate ways, and she missed them as she sat alone in their old corner in an almost empty pub.
